OVERALL PERSONALITY
Shy and awkward, and due to this she almost never approaches someone first unless she feels confident enough. But once she discovers she has things in common with the other, and once they 'click', she opens up more and becomes herself.
She's extremely weird, but in a funny, will make you laugh kind of way. She says and does the most unexpected things, asks random questions and brings up crazy and insane theories at unexpected moments.
She loves being sure of things so will sometimes ask you a questions more than once just to make extra sure, though not in an annoying way... Well not always. She's independent but if there is someone to drag along she will drag him/her along.
Not a very outdoorsy person, prefers the indoors. Besides, who wants to be outside in the blazing hot sun? Loves thunderstorms, pouring rain, cold breezes, green grass and a sky covered in grey clouds. Snow is fun. And she's the kind that will role and sleep in it. Basically, she loves the cold.
Not a dare devil but not scared to try new things. Might take a while and she might need a little push now and then but mostly she'll just take that first bite or jump into the unexplored waters without another thought.
She's not very witty, so she mumbles a lot when in a verbal fight, and sometimes doesn't make any sense at all since she sucks at explaining her own emotions.
She's a bit dramatic, over sensitive and gets set off by small things, she has a skill to turn it into a big thing. She hates snobs but sometimes she can be one herself, though she tries not to.
Listens and gives advice, sort of a personal therapist if you ever need one. She can keep a secret and she's very supportive, will tell you when you are the wrong one or how to handle whatever situation you might be in.
She remembers every fight she ever had. So, usually when in a fight she brings things up from past fights the other can't even remember anymore. She doesn't hold a grudge, though. She's forgiving, kind hearted and sometimes people tend to use and walk over her a bit. But due to her best friend she gained a bit more confidence and stood up for herself more.
She's fun, once you know her, and can't pronounce the word curious and jewellery. Loves shopping, for books, not clothes and hates to be in a crowd for too long. Gets irritated quite fast, especially if someone eats very loudly.

HISTORY
Valerie's half Irish, half British. She grew up in London, and for the first few years of her life had an Irish accent mixed with the British accent. Though, due to her grandfather's death she began to visit her grandma in Ireland a lot less and lost the Irish accent over time, just as her father did.
There's not much that can be described as interesting in her life. She had a pretty normal childhood, a pretty normal family. They aren't rich, nor poor. And she always could manipulate her parents into buying her the things she wanted. So she was fairly happy.
She's close with her mother, but with her father she just doesn't have anything in common. So they don't talk much unless they have to, or unless they try to bond. Which almost never happens.
She and her sister never got along, they sometimes tried but the peace didn't last long before it turned into war again. Her sister was Slytherin right to the very core, one of the worst in Valerie's opinion and even though they were sisters, Anzelle would pick and bully Valerie right through their years together at Hogwarts. Sometimes they were forced to try and get along by her parents, but in the end it only drew them further a part, and Valerie could swore one of the happiest days of her life was when her sister graduated Hogwarts and moved out of the house.
Valerie was sorted into Hufflepuff, and her parents, especially her mum who's an alumni Hufflepuff, were glad they had one, sweet and calm child. Anzelle had a bit of a temper and loved getting into trouble, which placed her mother through a lot of stress.
At the age of fifteen Valerie found out her sister's gay, which effected the whole house, and no one really wanted to talk about it. But her sister was really sensitive about it, and her mother didn't really approve. It caused everyone in the house to drift a part more rather than closer.
But yeah, not much wow and shockingly interesting things in her life other than the fact that she got on a horse more than once and each time found a new and hilarious way of falling off it. Yeah, Val, stick to a broom (Loves playing Quidditch, which she's bril at).
She's always been into muggle stuff, and grew up all around it since her father wanted to stay around the muggles, which meant they had to hide the magic as much as possible. Her mom likes acting muggle, so sometimes they'll wash the dishes or use the dish washer instead of magic. But we all get lazy, and magic is a perfect solution.
Valerie loves technology and will always sneak them with to Hogwarts, always hoping they'll work. But in a way she's thankful technology doesn't work at Hogwarts, she loves the whole wizard/witch feel and loves her owl Thor, named so because it looks like he has two thunderbolts for eyebrows. And she loves Thor. She loves Norse myth. And Greek.
Upon her first year, on the train, she met who would become her best friend, but at first they absolutely hated each other. Valerie always thought she was one of those short skirt, popular, 'the world revolves around me' type of girls ever since their first disagreement. So they pretty much stayed clear from each other until one day Amy's friends dumped her and she just had to join Valerie's group.
Valerie didn't like it, she didn't like her. But in fourth year they miraculously got talking and got along fantastically, realizing they have a lot in common. Ever since then they grew closer together, and even though they fight and disagree at times, they became like sisters. And Valerie would seriously do anything for her.
Oh and she wears glasses most of the time, has three dogs at home (Fluffy, Paws and Lucky). Love'em.
