OVERALL PERSONALITY Overall, Elisabeth is a rather friendly and helpful girl, helping those in her house when they come to her with a question or in need of advice. She is a student who is well-liked by her professors, always punctual to turn in her assignments and a good-listener in class. She is intelligent and witty, and she is always there to give the correct answer when needed; she is the model student. However, unknown to her professors, she openly despises muggle borns and blood traitors alike. To her, they taint the very name of wizard and are only there to stop the greatness that could be the magical empire. When not in class or in sight of any of her teachers, she does not hesitate to taunt the children of the non-magic parentage, and she can be very cruel and spiteful.
However, this is only how the girl acts around those who she deems to be unworthy. When around her friends or those of a higher society, she is trustworthy and protective, and she will do anything to make sure that those who she actually cares for are never in pain or danger. She is a great strategist and makes sure to always follow the plan to a tee, finding it irritating when people deviate from it. She is quick to anger, so even doing something as small as not following the plan can set her off. She also has a surprising amount of strength for someone as small as she is, and she isn't afraid to punch someone when they anger her. And, like any true Slytherin, she is ambitious and proud; she works hard for what she wants and she looks down upon those that are not of pure-blood and any Slytherin who doesn't think themselves above the others is not a true Slytherin.
Despite all of her flaws and the hate that she feels towards others, Elizabeth has a surprising amount of friends, especially among the Slytherin house and group known as the Firestarters. However, her best friend is and will always be her brother. He was always there for her as they grew up and he was always there to protect her when she was bullied or made fun of. She loves him dearly and will do anything for him; well, almost anything. One thing that she can not do for him is lose to him in either grades or Quidditch. Lizzy is very competitive, especially when it comes to her brother, and she will not lose to anyone when it comes to flying. She even joined the Slytherin Quidditch team so that she could take down all those who thought that they could dare defeat her in the air.
HISTORY
MOTHER Katherine Caroline Blackwood
FATHER Apollo Leonard Blackwood
SIBLINGS Newton Issac Blackwood
OTHER Lilith Blackwood - Aunt
HISTORY Elizabeth has had quite the life for one so young; it's an understatement to say that her that she she has experienced more emotional pain than most of the other students that cram the halls of the school of magic. She had been born with her brother, the person she treasured most in the entire world, and the two were left to raise each other almost from the very start, though it was mostly Newton taking care of her. While most students get to return home to a loving mother and father when they return home, Lizzy doesn't get that luxury. It had been an unhappy marriage, a union that had been arranged by the parents of her parents, that had brought Katherine and Apollo together. They had been forced to be together and hated each other from the very start and love could not grow in such a couple. It had been from the pressure to have an heir that had brought about Lizzy and Newt; there was no love and there would never be any love, not for each other and not for their children.
It had only been a few months after the birth of the twins when their mother left them with their Aunt Lilith, taking off and leaving their father behind. Afterall, he had been sent back to Azkahban once more, and Katherine could only take it for so long. The poor twins had lost any hope of love from their biological mother before they could even crawl, and of course their father was never around. He was not a good person and was always being sent back to the magical prison not long after he had managed to become free. Thankfully, Elisabeth and Newton at least had their Aunt Lilith to take care of them. She loved them, fed them, and clothed them just as any mother would, and she was very dear to Elisabeth. All the same, she could never be anything more then Aunt Lil for her; she could never be her mother, and Lizzy couldn't keep herself from hating her mother. Why hadn't she taken them with her? Why hadn't she loved them like most mothers did? As much as Elisabeth tells herself that she hates her biological mother for leaving and disgracing the family name, just like her father had, deep down she really is just hurt that her mother didn't take her with her. The lack of reliable family left a hole in the young girl's heart in a place where not even her aunt or brother could fill.
Elisabeth couldn't be more relieved when she and her brother got their letters to Hogwarts. While she loved being with her aunt, she wanted to go to school so she could learn how to control her powers and not hurt those around her. She found that she would always accidentally hurt all the muggles she had ever tried to play with, and she really wished she could get it under control. She wanted to friends and she found muggles to be tolerable, although they were also a bit stupid. She just wished she could have more people to talk to that weren't part of her family. Upon arriving at Hogwarts, she was sorted into Slytherin house, known for being power-hungry and ambitious. Although a bit discouraged, she soon got over it and tried to make friends with those that were also in her class. However, she found the task to be quite difficult, as many in her year held a vast hatred for those that were of muggle blood. Elisabeth found it to be quite the task to befriend those she felt to be so cruel, and it was even harder when she tried to defend those that they thought inferior. It had not been a good first year for her.
Elisabeth had been happy to return home and to be around the muggles once more. She had finally started to learn how to control what she did and so now she had high hopes in making friends around her home. However, all the hopes that she had ever had were crushed in one instant over the summer of between her first and second year. Whilst enjoying the good weather and visiting the park, she had been deemed the new target for a group of older boys that had seen her around before. They taunted and teased her and pushed her off the swing that she had been been occupying. They would have continued to do much worse had her brother not come to her rescue and chased the boys off. What had she done to deserve such treatment? She always stood up for them when those of her house would talk badly about them. It was at this moment that Elisabeth, crying and covered in dirt, decided that she truly hated muggles and that they didn't deserve to live freely.
Upon returning to Hogwarts, Elisabeth found that school had become much more enjoyable for her; she was finally making friends that shared similar views with her, and she was venting all the anger that she had pent up inside her on those that she deemed inferior. She openly mocked them, feeling no remorse as some of the younger ones would run away crying. She only laughed with her friends and ignored the looks of disgust the others gave her. She didn't care what they thought of her and she was free to do what she wanted, they couldn't stop her. The only thing that could stop her was the presence of a professor. She always behaved and acted the part of a model student while in their sight, and she was well-liked by the authority of the school. Then her fourth year came around and everything in her life changed.
The summer before her fourth year, she and her brother had made the decision to move back in with their father, who was at the time out of prison. While she loved her aunt, she desired the freedom she could have living with her father, who she sincerely doubted even knew their names. It wouldn't be long until he was back in Azkahban and the two would have the large home to themselves, so it was a win win for the twins. Upon returning to school, she and her brother were soon to be recruited to the group known as Firestarters, a modern-day Death Eaters group that followed the word of their leader, Romulus. It was fun, sneaking out of school at night to hold secret meetings in the Forbidden Forest and it the goal of a world without muggles, muggle-borns, and blood-traitors gave her hope for the future. Thus she spent the next two years of her life in school, following Romulus and his promise of a better world and a better future. She was now a Prefect as well as a member of the Slytherin Quidditch team; her school years had gotten so much better than her first year and she felt unstoppable. Nothing could stop their group from rewriting the history of the magical world.
