OVERALL PERSONALITY
"I'm a very complicated person, although I suppose everyone is. People like to see werewolves in black and white. They are either seen as arrogant and monstrous, or pitiful and broken. I prefer to be seen as the latter, though neither is really preferable. I'm not quite, but I am rather reserved in my speech. It never tends to be a hindrance.
"In many situations, however, I lack self-control, especially around the time of the full moon. I'm not very apt at turning down women. There were times in my schooling where I would go more than a fortnight without having to sleep alone. I'm also a little bit proud. It's a trait that i grew in to. I don't like to be insulted, and I don't take it lightly. I'll never be public about my vengeance though. You won't end up with a broken nose or with gossip floating about you. Normally it ends with minor theft or a small prank, but it's always enough to make you regret what you said. Once I stole a kid's text book that was calling my sister-- well I won't say what he called her, but I took his text book and gave it back to him in chapters, the week after the chapter was covered in class.
"Mostly I just aspire to greatness. I've been the scum of the earth since I was born, and all I really want is to be a success. I don't want it handed to me either. I want to have to work for it, and I want to be able to look back at my life and be able to see the joy I have created for myself. I want to make a name for myself."
HISTORY
MOTHER unknown
FATHER Fenrir Greyback
SIBLINGS He has two sisters and two brothers, all younger.
OTHER none
HISTORY
"I never knew my mother. I don't think I would have wanted to either. It's simpler and better to just pretend that she was the greatest person that ever lived, although that probably isn't the case considering that my father is the worst person who ever lived. The only reason he kept us around was to do his bidding and get him out of trouble. We were constantly on the run, and people would find us out, but when they did he would say he had changed and that he had to take care of us, and they would believe him, and we would move on. It could have been worse though. He had to keep us in pristine condition so that it would look as if he cared for us. He would only become violent around the time of the full moon.
"As a kid I didn't have a name. I didn't know what a name was really. Fenrir just called me "boy" of the time. He didn't do much at all but sit around and order me to bring him more scotch and on occasion try to feel up my sisters. We didn't know that was wrong, and there isn't a moment where I don't feel guilty for letting that happen.
"I've never seen myself as my siblings' protector. I've always felt responsible for them, but considering that my father's sins weren't so blatant to me, I didn't think I had anything to protect them from.
"Eventually my dad was caught, but he was able to convince Mundugnus to give false evidence that he was a spy during the war. That was right before I turned eleven, and considering that he was trying to pass himself off as an adequate parent, I was enrolled at Hogwarts. I did all the paperwork myself, and later I did it for all my brotehrs and sisters. I remember asking my dad what my name was. He told me to just write something down and not to bother him. Weston St. was where we had finally settled down to live, and Chambers Rd. was where I heard the rich people lived. I chose my name because it was what I was and who I wished to become.
"Hogwarts was a completely new world for me. I was sorted in to Gryffindor, which would have disappointed my dad if he had cared at all. He doesn't care about anything but instant pleasures.
"I had to learn quickly the difference between right and wrong. I had to learn manners. I had to learn to stick to myself. People are much more likely to like the known werewolf boy if they are able to pity him. I couldn't be anywhere near the abrasiveness of my father's life.
"By fourth year, the time in which I went through my growth spurt and no longer looked like a dweeb, there were a couple of guys that thought I would make a decent quidditch player, and a couple of girls that found my silence and gloominess rather attractive. I was by no means popular, but I was on the verge of normal, and that was good enough for me.
"Graduating as a werewolf, no matter how well behaved you may be, leaves you very few options. I took a job at the Hog's Head out of necessity. I live in a tiny little house just down the road, and if I continue giving my father payments month by month he'll allow my sisters to live with me over the summers, which as you may have guess, would be a rather good thing for them, and also get a lot of guilt off of my chest. There's no hope for my brothers to get out on my account. Father told me that someone had to be there to bring him his scotch.
"The teaching assistant job was such a blessing. I've always loved history; I was a favorite of Professor Binns. Mostly he just liked me because I was one of the few people that paid any attention. Sometimes I would even venture to stay after class and talk to him (sometimes for hours) about the War of Three Henrys or the Goblin's Day Massacre.
"Now I just hope that I can be a good teacher so that I can actually make something of myself."
